Re: problem with my varadero 125, please help. ok, so try this for the hell of it, let the bike warm up and idle just under 2000rpm, now with the idle adjust knob on the carb turn up the rpm a small bit, to 2000rpm or a bit over 2000rpm, and see if it will start ok then.
Remove the bolt and shove the tank to the rear of the bike about 2 inches to clear the rubber mounts, then lift upward. See diagram. I haven't worked on any newer 125s but if the picture in the posting is what you have, the seat will probably need to be removed to get to any mounting bolts for the tank. Posted on Aug 07, 2010.
new to the vara and still on my voyage of discovery with it. 08 bought from dealer second hand. i cant see any oil level at all. apart from draing the sump how can i check the level.honda say run engine then check oil level. but i cant see any oil at all. the pressure waring light goes out fine upon start up.

So I bought A Honda varadero 125. i choose this bike because i thought it would be reliable. Anyway, Yesterday when i bought it it rode home completely perfect about 10 miles. Then in the morning after i tried to ride it and it back fired a bit and went sort of sluggish on acceleration, I immediately thought it hasn't got enough fuel.

Got the bike back gave it a service,oil filter air filter also changed the plugs.starts and runs fine Now the things is im new to bikes so im not sure if the clutch is operating properly,when the engine is running i pull the clutch lever dgwKpc.
