Members. Joined: 11/11/2022. Posted November 27, 2022. Does anyone know how to run GTA:SA in windowed mode in Windows 10? I tried some key combinations, but nothing happened. Most of the key combinations were from old topics, 10+ years ago. It seems new computer have different key combinations.
So recently, I had this problem with GTA:SA where it would tell me it needed DirectX 9 or above. I searched a long time for the anwser, and saw that a lot of people posted to change it to compatibility mode, or to run it as administrator, or even to force install DirectX 9, none of those worked f
This can have multiple fixes, which may or may not work. The first one is by downloading a .dll file and replacing the one on your GTA folder. The video for it can be found here. The second one is to "Run this program in compatibility mode and set it's compatibility to Windows 98/ Windows Me. A Video for it can also be found here.
Joined: 07/03/2005. Posted July 3, 2005. I wouldn't worry about it chief. I found out about it not being able to run on Windows 98se after I had been playing it on Windows 98se for TWO DAYS! So far the only issue I've had is having to delete the gta_sa file after changing my resolution settings.but it seems many people have to delete that

It works for me, what you have to do is go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto San Andreas then right click on the gta-sa.exe icon and click properties, click compatibilty, then choose to run it under Windows 7 and click ok. Also, can you do the following: Windows Key + R > type eventvwr in the "Open" box > OK > expand "Custom Views" and then right-click "Administrative Events" > select "Save all events in Custom View As" and save as an .evtx file. Then make the resulting .evtx file available via a public folder on OneDrive or similar site.
I'm having a hard time getting samp to install to my folder. I've searched youtube and google but the only thing I'm finding are tutorials on how to fix once it's installed. When I got to install the game, the "install" button is greyed out and can't be clicked. Any help?
