Issues: - getting disconnected from the game (game client unable to gain access to the login server) - unable to login - if I get into the game, I am disconnected again within minutes - typed chat isn't coming through - guild tab wasn't getting populated, with a note that there might be connectivity issues. Just wanted to note that this likely isn't an issue with Guild Wars 2 itself, but a service sitting in front of the game (and all ANet services). Which is also probably why you haven't seen any posts on the Forums, either since it uses the same login system. And it also affects account management and Guild Wars 1.
So me and my SO are having really bad issues logging into gw2 asia side, we keep hitting client losing connection issues. Is anyone else suffering or have any advice weve already missed saturdays event because of this. Internet connection is workjng fine so any help would be amazing

It's an issue specific to australia because gw2 works fine for the rest of the world. More so since australians atm have issues connecting with battle.net, ubisoft, ea, playstation and a bunch of other services.

The regular IP you usually play from shouldn't trigger the SMS authenticator. It's only if you're trying to access the game from an unknown IP that you'll face problems.
